LAS VEGAS (January 19, 2011) - QVS is pleased to introduce HDE-K, HDMI v1.3 Over Ethernet Single CAT5e Active Extender Kit with Broadcast & IR Control that extends HDMI signal over LAN up to 400 meters (1312ft) away from HDMI or DVI source using single CAT5e/RJ45 cable. It supports DVI-D using a HDMI to DVI adaptor, providing greater flexibility in integrating several home theater components. Hundreds of HD displays are possible with the addition of more receiver modules. Allow users to control source remotely with the built-in IR transmitter on the receiver module or by using the included optional IR receiver to conceal the unit for a cleaner installation. It supports 1080p and is HDCP compliant.

The kit includes transmitter & receiver modules, IR transmitter & receiver, HDMI cable, and power adaptors.
